Tapestry Foundation Australia purchases NAB commissioned tapestries

The Tapestry Foundation Australia was the successful purchaser of eight tapestries commissioned between 1976 and 1986 by the National Australia Bank. In a move to rearrange their investments a large portion of the NAB art collection was put up for sale in February 2022. This included tapestries, both woven at the Australian Tapestry Workshop and overseas, that had all been designed by Australian artists.
